You are invited to the next Nottingham Professional Services breakfast event to hear a brief presentation and update from the Bank’s agent for the East Midlands as to the state of the economy and the outlook generally, and as we enter into the critical last few weeks ahead of “Brexit Day” on 29th March 2019.
Rosie Smith has worked as an agent and deputy agent in the East Midlands and the North East. Rosie’s main role is to gather information on the economy by talking to senior decision makers in around 500 companies and organisations across the East Midlands. She reports what she learns to the Bank’s policy makers, who make decisions on interest rates and banking policy.
Rosie will give a short account of her take on the outlook for businesses and particular sectors across the region, trends in the economy and things to be aware of as we move beyond Q1.
This will be followed by a question and answer session giving you an opportunity to find out about any burning issues or seek answers to particular questions that you may have.
Given the usual NPS audience representation of bankers, funders, legal experts, accountants, underwriters and others, no doubt this should provide for some interesting discussion and thoughts.
Tickets are price at £16, which includes tea, coffee and a breakfast roll.
