Kate Hennig – Chairperson
Kate joined the committee in 2016 and became chairperson in 2017. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant that has worked in the professional services sector for over 20 years for firms such as RSM Tenon and PwC UK. She is currently Client Director at theGrogroup, a company that specialises in helping professional services firms with leadership and strategy.
Founder member and former chairperson, Andrew is a serial entrepreneur. Andrew co-founded a private electricity utility business which grew dramatically and was ranked 72nd in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards in 2007. That business was sold in 2008. Andrew now shares his time between his two main businesses, Breedon Electrical Services, and recruitment consultancy Blusource.
Greg is a founder member of NPS, as well as Managing Director of Press for Attention PR, where he has become a published author. Working with Elliot he helps to raise the profile of NPS across the East Midlands business community by ensuring our news is published in the local media.
Dan is an experienced Corporate Finance Partner at Smith Cooper and provides advice to entrepreneurs and owner managers on all aspects of M&A, strategy, growth and value creation. His role on the NPS committee also includes managing all our accounting requirements.
Craig is a Director of commercial property consultancy Innes England, advising public and private sector clients on all aspects of transactional activity. Craig is a founder member of NPS and provides a vital link with the property sector.
Tom is a founder member of Nottingham Professional Services, and is passionate that professionals have an independent forum to effectively network, socialise and raise all manner of issues affecting their professional roles. Tom is a Corporate Finance partner at Fraser Brown solicitors in Nottingham acting for many commercial clients across the region, and is an advocate for all manner of issues affecting the City’s wider legal community within the professional world.
Nicola is a qualified chartered accountant and is currently an Assistant Manager at Cooper Parry specialising in Audit. She is also the Chairperson of the NPS Futures committee and like Brad, provides a vital link with the main committee.
Brad is a Chartered Financial Planner and Director of Carter Legrand Wealth Strategies Ltd. He provides advice to business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals on achieving their financial objectives. His role on the NPS Committee is to act as the liaison officer between the NPS main committee and NPS Futures Committee to ensure joined up thinking and progression.
Elliot is a Director of Simple Marketing Consultancy and joined the committee to act as our marketing executive to ensure events are promoted using email and social media, as well as ensuring the website is updated regularly.
Neil is a highly experienced corporate banking professional with wide ranging experience in a variety of roles across the Midlands. He is an Associate Director at Independent Banking Professionals Ltd and provides a vital link with financial institutions within the region.
With 14 years in the banking sector working for RBS and Natwest, Ken will combine his current position as Business Development Director at Natwest, helping SME’s in the East Midlands with Invoice Finance and asset-based lending requirements, with his NPS committee role.
