Nottingham Professional Services (NPS) Futures held their first crazy golf event on Thursday 28th November 2019 to see who would be crowned the City’s best young professional golf team.
For the first time the event was held at The Lost City Adventure Golf Centre located at the Cornerhouse. Over 20 young professionals from Nottingham’s most recognised firms attended the event including Mazars, Freeths, Blusource, Actons, 9ine Chartered Accountants, Tale Productions and Simple Marketing Consultancy.
Teams were chosen at random and grouped into teams of 4, before heading out to tackle 18 holes around the Sacred Skull Course. The winning score would be the team with the least combined shots of all 4 playing members.
In a competitive affair, the winning team with an impressive score of 173 strokes was Andrew Dixon (Freeths), Matthew Bratu (Mazars), Alex Saunders (Mazars) and Elliot Cook (Simple Marketing Consultancy). Each of the winners were presented with a bottle of wine.
Commenting on the event, Leah Smith from Blusource and NPS Futures Committee Member said “An organisation like NPS Futures is a fantastic conduit for Nottingham’s young professionals to network. Nottingham is a fantastic place to develop your career and events like this are absolutely essential, especially across such a diverse group of professional services.”
The NPS Futures committee is drawn from a range of disciplines from across Nottingham’s professional services sector and works closely with the main NPS committee.
If you are interested in attending further NPS events, we publish details on our Upcoming Events section of the Nottingham Professional Services website.
Our next event is our annual New Years Drinks night on Tuesday 14th January 2020 at Belgo. Last year over 100 professionals attended the event, and we hope to see just as many this time around. To confirm your place, please visit our Eventbrite page.
