Nottingham Professional Services (NPS) has announced the appointment of Ken Feast to its committee and the re-election of Kate Hennig as chairperson. NPS Futures have also appointed two new committee members.
With 14 years in the banking sector working for RBS and Natwest, Ken will combine his current position as Business Development Director at Natwest, helping SME’s in the East Midlands with Invoice Finance and asset-based lending requirements, with his NPS committee role.
Speaking about his new role, Ken added; “I have been a great supporter of NPS for a number of years now, so to be asked to join the committee was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse. I’m looking forward to delving into my black book of contacts to help increase the profile of NPS and provide a better platform for our professional community to network and prosper.”
Kate Hennig has been re-appointed as the NPS Chair following a successful year in charge, overseeing a number of networking events that have included a Nottingham City Update, World Cup themed Summer Ball and a Midlands Engine Fund Breakfast Briefing.
Commenting on her reappointment, Kate said; “This is an exciting time to be part of NPS. Over the past year, we have made a significant investment in raising the NPS profile, and organising networking events that are beneficial to the professional services community here in Nottingham. I am looking forward to continuing in the role as we already have an exciting programme of events lined up for 2019.”
NPS was established in 2014 to provide a forum to bring together professionals across Nottingham from all disciplines. Regular attendees include architects, construction engineers, lawyers, accountants, marketing consultants and other business advisers who network, share best practice, develop careers and encourage work referrals.
It is seen as the independent voice of Nottingham’s professional sector, developing the business advisory community and its successors. NPS Futures focuses on inspiring the younger generation of professional by helping them to expand their network and knowledge via social and CPD orientated events.
Our next event is a New Year’s Drinks night on Monday, 14th January 2019 at Browns, followed by a Brexit briefing event in February.
